"Design of goods and goods"

Although it is a simple way of thinking, I am impressed that something made according to it has complexity or a profound meaning, it is a good design.

It seems simple but it comes with a deep thing.

I am thinking about making something like that, but I can not do it quite well.

So, when considering making a free cup of Wajima lacquer, a simple and simple idea will be completed at the outset, but we wanted to make something with complexity and rich charm in what we made.

Based on the design of Mr. Yoshinori Yanagi's cup (white cup of image), I made a clue as to the touch of the lips and feel of the mouth, but the architect who referred another one is Finland's Alva Aalto. Although it is an architect, I also designed furniture and upholstery, I liked Aalto's glass flower base (cloud shaped image). When I was in my 20's, the flower base I saw for the first time when I went to Finland to see Aalto's architecture was waving the glass and the thickness had changed. At that time I knew that the thickness was also a design, I got big and small flower bases as teaching materials.

Since then, the thickness of the material also caught as part of the design, if the thickness of the drinking mouth of the cup changes, of course the tactile sensation will change as well, so if the mood change of the day and the tactile sensation are corresponded You can incorporate mood and tactile sensations into your design, you can change the mouth for that day's mood. However, I thought that something was still enough to decide the design of the whole cup just by that. I thought that design as changing the thickness of the drinking mouth still does not make it too light and thin as the design of the whole cup unless something meaning is overlapped.

It is important how to change the thickness, and that way of changing its thickness is not related to the overall shape. It is interesting if it changes in thickness discontinuously like Aalto, but if it overdoes, it seems that it is arbitrarily treated only as a form, and it was not seen just like wanting to cloud shape .

When you make clouds, you will have a hollowed part, so use it as a clue when holding a cup. Doing so makes sense to the shape and does not mean arbitrarily treating the shape.

Incorporating tactile sensations and moods into designs will not be achieved by a single item. Fluids enter the cup, change the place you feel in your mood, carry it to your mouth, touch your lips, drink while feeling the tactile sensation. All of this series of actions are accompanied by the completion of the design of the cup.

The design is realized for the first time in goods + goods.

There was an idea of a design that can not be determined only by quality as a thing, good or bad of goods, high cheapness, value only by value of goods. I liked it, I liked it.

A design that consists of people who use it.

I started doing sketches to shape and size seriously with this direction.
