"Light is a material"

Can the sunshine be the context / context of the site?

In the first place, the reason why importance of reading the context / context of the land became more important was deconstruction of architecture. Modern architecture aimed at building which can be done anywhere in the world, trying to build a new architectural image by excluding regionality and indigenous things.

As a result, in the cities, wherever we go all over the world we see similar constructions, which gradually lead to the devastation of modern architecture.

To cherish the regionality, planning the architecture with the attention of the indigenous thing became a clue to explore the next architecture of modern architecture, and the method for that was to read the context / context of the land.

The sunshine goes the same way wherever you go in the world.

In northern countries and south countries there will be differences in sunshine hours and solar radiation, but in one area it will not be much different.

So, it seems that the light of the sun does not become the context / context of the premises, and it is hard to find out the characteristics and features there because it is required everywhere that the sunny place is good.

However, the same as cooking, even using the same ingredients, we treat the light of the sun as a context / context of the premises and finish it into a wonderful architecture so that the taste is different at all by the person who cooks the food Is not it?

When I was a college student I learned it at "Light Church".
