"What you can do in architecture"

If you just build a safety zone, it becomes a shelter. No one will want to live in a shelter. I don't want to be there in an emergency, but I don't want to be there on a daily basis.

And I don't think whether it's a safe zone depends on whether it is strong, sturdy, or prepared. Whether it is a place where you can get a peace of mind that can be called a nest for you.

What happens when we express it architecturally?

One way is to clarify the difference between the nest and the place other than the nest and extend the difference.

For example, when you stay at a hotel or ryokan in a game, Mr. Zenji Hanyu, you seem to have a lot of personal belongings in the room to make it a spiritually calm space.

You can sleep and eat outside your own home, but what is in the space is a temporary one, something you are unfamiliar with, and it may deprive you of security.

So there will be some familiarity.

My deceased grandmother, who was at the end of the period, was in Toyo, and occasionally returned home, but said that returning to Toyo was "going home." I think that the special treatment was already the same as my house, like a nest.

If time is a nest, or if you live in a city, is there anything you need to do architecturally, or can you still express something architecturally?

Try to get used to it. What does it mean to be used to it? It will be that you can take time to space and things in space, and you will be able to tell the story of that person, that is something that only "things" literally "speak" to that person that no one knows There will be.

However, in architecture, the story itself cannot be created from the design stage. This is because the story is created by the person who puts it in the building after the construction is complete, and the story itself is predicted at the design stage and directed at the stage where all the stories are possible. It seems to be the act of picking buds.

So what can be built may only trigger that "thing" "talks". It's not a stale story, but it doesn't have to be lofty, it's a daily story that anyone can understand and have, and it may be a little overlooked, It's normal, not special, but if it's not that much, you won't be able to spin the story every day, and it won't penetrate the person.

It's never a special thing, and it's an architecture that induces everyday life when you notice that "things" there are "speaking". It makes you imagine, it gives you a sense of security, and the place becomes a safe zone. Become.

"Keyword of Architecture"

I sometimes recall the typhoon No. 19 of the other day. I never thought that my house was a safe zone like that.

Even if I was outside my home and I was safe, I would have had a different emotion from anxiety and anxiety.

In order for animals to have a homing instinct, there is a safety zone that can be called a nest. Regardless of what happens in the outside world, whether it is hurt or good, it returns to the nest.

With that instinct, you can't talk about the place of home. More specifically, you can't position your home in the city.

Then, I think that the way to find a house as a nest as an architectural space and design, or what kind of architecture is found there, will be a chance to drop everyday "living" itself into architecture.

There is a person who cannot talk about architecture when the theme is "living." It is a person who regards "living" as a nuisance, can not find a new and different architecturality there, and can only talk about existing architectural characteristics that exclude "living".

I think that the keywords of architecture in the future are "living", "daily life", and "normal".

"A space that you have not noticed"

Ripples, sand crests, and the waves that are often seen in the garden of dry mountain water, the stones look like islands, and then spread concentrically.

If you throw an island into the ocean, the waves will rise and spread. Waves stand because it is water. If you throw something into the space, the waves will not rise, but the air will spread.

The influence of things sometimes determines the space.
A feature is born in space just by having it.

Thinking so, space can be compared to the sea.

Create an area called space while the sea water is full.

Even if there is gravity, you can stand without difficulty because it has buoyancy, but you can make it tight so that you can not lose to the ocean current, or you can leave it to the ocean current and make it soft so that it drifts away.

Because it 's a lot of trouble, I 'll try to drift away.

Even if it blurs somewhat, it is more drifting than it is, but the place is not clear, but it is good to adjust appropriately. Because the sea water is connected, there is no point in deciding your own area.

If it is filled with seawater, the territory becomes meaningless because the sea is not someone's.

If the concept of ownership that is not owned by someone disappears, then the territory disappears. Actually, the concept of ownership cannot be lost, but it can be lost as a consciousness.

If you can create a space that drifts, you will lose ownership, and if your ownership fluctuates, you will not be able to determine where people are. Undefined causes ambiguity, and the degree of ambiguity is the standard.

It's important to see how vague and uncertain it is, but it seems like a wonderful space, but a similar architectural space experience has already come to mind.

So, if you say someone in the sea, there is no such thing, so there should be a different space. If you think so, you will feel that there is a space that no one has noticed yet.

"Exposure of thought"

If there is something that has history and has been accumulated, it has become systematic, and now you are wearing it, in any world, use words that are valid in that range, Thinking according to the rules within that scope, giving correct answers, incorrect answers, or making things, or teaching at school, company or society, but people can think more freely than that I just felt that what I learned systematically interfered with it, or that I learned it systematically, that it was wrong or embarrassing And stop thinking freely on the way.

There's no need to discover anything new or come up with groundbreaking things, but I don't think it's unavoidable to lose the opportunity to think freely. If it accumulates, it should be something that will create something new systematically, and based on what you have created in that way, maximize the difference from what you have ever had I think that if you expand it, it will be your own expression.

I went to Tofukuji Temple in Kyoto to see the garden. Because it was a little rainy sky, it is recommended that you look at the garden in Kyoto at this time, rather than walking around the city. I have seen.

In simple terms, the "Hachino-no-garden" is a garden created with eight themes. Some of the eight gardens have a modern geometric pattern, and I have looked into the garden that I cannot see in other Japanese gardens.

Since I thought it was good why I saw it, I wondered why I thought it was good while looking at the garden. I'm not an expert at all, so I don't know if the garden is good or bad. If you are not considered to be related to architecture, and you are making and designing, you will automatically and unconsciously judge good or bad on the same scale, and decide good or bad.

Simply put, you look at the garden architecturally and decide whether it is good or bad based on the building quality based on the history of architecture. Although there is a sense of incongruity, and the judgment criteria itself is only valid within a limited range, it is like everything, it is absolutely correct, and it is a natural thought. However, when you see such a high-light garden, it automatically appears unconsciously.

So, from the first place with a clear evaluation and a noble and high-class thing, I feel that there is no emergence of new thoughts, I do not know what it is, it is everywhere in the ordinary, I often see, I believe that new ideas can only come out of something that happens on a daily basis.

"How to create a public / private mixed space"

Think of a balance between private and public. The balance between public and private spaces in the space, whether in your own home or one room, for example, there will be a part that can be seen and a part that cannot be seen. Rather than divide it by setting, it is an attempt to make space by architecture. It is a way of dealing with the duality of space, which essentially extends to the duality of human beings, and aims to create a vague space between public and private, rather than a clear distinction.

Furthermore, there is no special feature in space or architecture just by the balance between public and private. It may be individuality, or it may be ~ likeness, but balance alone does not form a space or architecture.

Use items to bring out features. An item is a general term for all objects that color space and architecture, and includes, for example, windows, lighting equipment such as kitchens and furniture.

There are no items and the space and architecture surrounded only by the floor, walls and ceiling are highly public. If it is a cubic space, the floor, walls, and ceiling are smooth and the color is white, the publicness is the highest.

Cubic, untransformed, smooth and pure white space, which has no features, but that opens up possibilities for all people and events.

If it is deformed and the cubic space becomes a rectangular parallelepiped, further an ellipse, a circle, or a more complicated shape, or the color of the floor, wall, or ceiling changes from achromatic such as white to chromatic, Or, when the floor, wall, and ceiling finish appear smooth and uneven, the degree of privateness increases, and when one item is added to it, the degree of privateness further increases.

In a complex deformed space, the floor, walls, and ceiling finishes are extremely uneven and flashy, and the more items, the more private. In other words, it becomes characteristic, individuality comes out, and becomes a space and architecture that seems to be.

The above-mentioned balance adjustment of public and private is overlapped or continued to create an ambiguous space and architecture that is confused between public and private.

"Balance adjustment"

The space when eating is private or public, the act of eating seems like a very private thing, if you think carefully, it is defenseless when you eat and it is quite common for people to see it It may be embarrassing.

Well, I don't really like it because I don't really like watching people eating and eating up close.

If you eat alone, at home, in a shop, in private time, the place becomes a private space cut out from the surroundings, but if you are with someone, whether you are private or public depending on who you are with Divided.

If so, you only have to choose the time and shop from time to time, but what to do in a house where you can't change the place, you might change the setting depending on the person you eat together.

Changing settings, the worst thing for architecture, because architecture doesn't change and can't respond to change. Originally, it should be adjustable, but the balance is private or public.

"Kitchen is free"

When I was thinking of living in the kitchen, I suddenly thought of a brazier.

Speaking of that, when I was a child, there was a brazier in my house, where I cooked and warmed up. Of course, although it is not the main fire type, there is a taste, but the place with the brazier was a kitchen, a dining room, or a living room.

The only difference between a kitchen or non-kitchen or a kitchen or washroom is whether there is a fire or not. IH may be used.

Speaking of which, if you go to the mountains and camping, it will be a kitchen everywhere.

What happens if there is no need to fix the kitchen separately? Even if you do not live in the kitchen, the place where you live is also the kitchen.

Some people want to hide the kitchen. If there is no kitchen, it will probably not be a house and may be treated as an office under the Building Standards Act. Whether or not there is a kitchen that controls food, it is quite important as a house, but it is important for living, but as an architecture, kitchen is only a term for one function, so it satisfies the function If you think that all you need is equipment, then you can place it anywhere, and if so, you can say that you can decide rather than how the space and form of the architecture are decided.

"Kitchen life"

You can only cook and eat your own food at your own home. Your home includes villas and homes, and you cannot enter camp.

So cooking and eating is a major activity at home. If you think about it, you can do other life activities, even if you are not in your own home, sleeping, taking a bath, or even spending time with your family.

So if you don't cook yourself, you don't need your own house, even if you don't need it, it might cost more, but you might want to live in a hotel . However, it is a different story whether it will give you a sense of security as if you were in a safe zone.

Hungry is a physiological phenomenon, so everyone has to prepare food for that, so if you say the extreme, for those who make it, your home = kitchen It would be safe.

I work from home but stay in the dining room except when I sleep. Although there is a work room, I now work at a dining table in the storage of documents and books.

I didn't cook a lot, but this style was because I started cooking boiled beans, and I couldn't help thinking about the progress, and the smell of cooking beans I loved it, so I started working nearby, and now it is convenient because the kitchen is in place, the refrigerator is close, and coffee can be ground from beans.

So, if you make a map of whereabouts at home in a day, it will fit in a very narrow area. If so, I thought it would be nice to make it smaller and live in the kitchen, and make that space a garden or something, take more distance from the neighbor and take in more sunlight from the windows I want to.

"Rethink"

Think about "What should we make?"

If you are given a pawn and a title, it will come out automatically, but it will not be enough, so I will try to take a good look at its automatic contents.

So we meet two forks.

One is to decide where to go, and then to build up that time, and the other is to decide where you want to go and just go to that.

Neither road is correct or one is incorrect, but the place to reach depends on the road.

I've been doing a lot of ways to decide where to go, and if it's a job, it's much more so if I don't decide where to go, nothing will go according to plan. First of all, if you decide where to go, it will be a heavy road, and it won't have a positive effect on what you'll get, so stop deciding where you want to go, and how you look forward Kana, think about what to do for that.

Having the ideal of what you want to make, it's a fun situation to think about what to make and how to make it every day.

Then, if the method of making is not fun, there is nothing as fixed as the method of making. If the way of making changes each time, it won't spread and it's inefficient, so just enjoy it.

So, I started an attempt to reconsider how to make it and came to Kinko's at night after a long time.

"light"

Have you ever watched the transition of light? Have you ever stayed in the same place with shadows and looked at light and shadows for hours?

If you want to do it, you can't do it. If you do it easily, you can do it in your own home. What is necessary is just to follow the trace of the light which injects from a window. You just have to watch it.

But no one will do it. There aren't many people out there, and I'm tired in the first place.

Even if you can stay in a place that is said to be a famous building, you can only take the sun. I can't stay all day.

However, the designing side calculates the degree of change of the light. The light you are imagining when you think about where to take openings.

The first architect to visit is Tadao Ando's "Church of Light". As is known in the name of architecture, it is a structure with a cross of light, and there are slits in the shape of a cross on the concrete wall. At that time, I watched the light transition of the cross from morning till evening until it became dark. Even though it was a simple structure with slits on the wall, it was impressed by the richness of the light transition, and that was the beginning of the design.

Light is available to everyone equally. I thought that it was the architect's ability to give the light a cross shape, and at that time I wanted to do this kind of work. At that time, I realized the possibility of the light that I was always seeing, and after that I became aware of the light.

I was impressed with what I hadn't been aware of before, and I was impressed with it, so I was impressed with architecture.

"Illusion of the moment"

After the tea party at Tanikawa House by Shinohara Kazuo in Karuizawa, before leaving the place, once again around the building, climbing the slope and looking from the south side, the situation until now I saw a different expression, and was relieved and unintentionally screamed "good".

I immediately put it in the photograph at that time, but I am sorry that I can't show it, but because of the strong form of architecture until then, the strength of that form leads, and I am instructed to understand this architecture like this Sure, it was wonderful and impressed, so I was satisfied, but at that moment, beyond the form, the architecture was assimilated with the surrounding air, the architecture disappeared for a moment, the surrounding nature and If you think of it assimilated, there are no strong forms that follow the rules of nature, and there is an illusion that the form of architecture has become assimilated into that natural form.

It was the beginning of learning such a feeling. I thought it would be good to come here just by tasting this feeling, but it was also an instant.

The strong form of architecture is sometimes criticized as authoritative, and how to weaken it is sometimes an implicit understanding of the design, but maybe there is another possibility for the strength of the form It may be because it is attracted by the strength of the form.

Tanikawa House

Tanikawa House

"Inclined soil"

After attending a tea party at Tanikawa House by Shinohara Kazuo in Karuizawa, I went to the Karuizawa Senju Museum.

In addition, both architectures have a common point that they have sloping soils that use sloped land as they are, although the times are different. However, the impression I receive is completely different.

Tanikawa House incorporates the terrain of slopes into the form of architecture, and is built without a trace. Therefore, although it is continuous with the slopes around the building, it does not feel the terrain when standing in the dirt.

The Karuizawa Senju Museum of Art seems to make the terrain itself spatial, and because it has a contour that separates the inside and the outside, such as glass and roof, when you stand in the dirt, you can feel that it is a terrain = terrain.

Tanikawa House is strong in the form of architecture, and the appearance and appearance of architecture are relative to nature.

The Karuizawa Senju Museum of Art has spatialized the terrain, the architecture is only outline, the strength of the architectural form is weak, there is no form or appearance of the architecture, the architecture and nature are assimilated, but it is considered as a form, Although it can be said that it has a strong form that can be assimilated, it is completely opposite to the strong architectural form that Tanikawa House has, so when comparing the two architectures, the architectural form of Karuizawa Senju Museum of Art The strength will be weak.

Both are world-class architectures that bring amazing architectural experiences to the touch, but for personal reasons, the strength of the architectural style is strong and the appearance and appearance of the architecture is clearly visible I will be attracted.

Tanikawa House

"Tanikawa House Autumn Tea Party"

The architecture shone brilliantly in the forest.

I participated in a tea party at Tanikawa House by Kazuo Shinohara in Karuizawa. It may be a private mansion, and it has been unpublished for a long time, and it has been open to the public since it was first completed, and there are times when it has not been used so much.

According to the explanation, Tanikawa House is a separate house in Kita Karuizawa, built in 1974 by Shuntaro Tanikawa entrusting a single poem to architect Kazuo Shinohara.

The feature of this house is that it is built on a sloping ground and has a sloping soil where the slope appears continuously in the house. The soil is 9m wide from north to south, has a drop of 1.2m, and is covered with volcanic ash. It seems that Shuntaro Tanikawa was supposed to hold various events in the space.

In addition, a thick pillar with a 45-degree cane was placed between them to emphasize its existence.

Also, since the roof starts at an angle of 45 degrees from a height of about 1 m from the ground, it becomes the impression that only the roof is on the slope, all the appearance impression is the roof, the material of the roof is colored silver Because it was a galvanized iron plate, it shone in the woods, and its brightness was slow.

The overall impression is that a silver roof is built on the slope, a thick pillar supports it, the wall partitions the exterior and interior, and the slope is exposed as it is between the indoor soils, emphasizing the structural elements of these buildings As a result, the form of the architecture was strongly launched, and the architecture was in its original form and was majestically settled in nature.

However, it was mysterious, and its strong architectural form made a presence in nature, and it was well adapted to nature.

I don't know why, but I was very attracted to its strong architectural style.

(Photographing on the spot was allowed, but posting of architectural photos on SNS etc. was not possible)

"Process not explained"

As you design, various fragments come to mind.

That piece is really trivial. Haruki Murakami keeps in mind not to explain the fragment, throws it into the container of novels and combines them three-dimensionally, where the combination has nothing to do with public logic or literary idioms It was done and it became a basic scheme.

I didn't really understand that I didn't explain the fragments I received, but I didn't care about the individual meanings of the fragments, the relationship between the fragments was important, and it was completely different by combining the fragments three-dimensionally. I interpreted it as trying to create something meaningful.

It is also possible in architecture, and "not explaining" a fragment is a fragment that comes to mind, for example, the attitude of not responding to it if it is a problem, rather than just answering the issue. By combining the three-dimensionally, you can try to create a new problem with a completely different angle, and if you can create a new problem, you can encounter answers that you have never seen before There is a nature, which leads to new architecture.

I feel like I was given a hint about how to handle the pieces that I received.

"Processing fragments"

As you design, various fragments come to mind.

In addition to the environment of the construction site and the client's request, in this case, it is chewed, it is thought that it is important, it is impressed, it is not understandable, strange, funny, it is summarized separately It is not a translation, it is not a system, and conversely, things that cannot be incorporated well into the design feel floating in fragments, and similar scenes from the past memories are likely to be helpful Other than architecture, such as when visiting a new architecture, the words of a book, the story of an architect, etc., the cuisine of the restaurant you visited, the conversation at that time, different scenes from everyday life when traveling or traveling, memories of childhood, etc. Everything comes out in small pieces.

Most of them seem to have nothing to do with it, it disappears when it floats, and disappears when it floats, but if it says nothing at all, it is not so, and there is some kind of catch Will probably come to mind.

So, depending on your thoughts, this side lacks the ability to process what comes to mind, so it's hard to say that you've missed it.

Strictly speaking, what comes to mind without regard to consciousness on this side will come to mind in response to some consciousness on this side, but it cannot be controlled, so if you control it, Although it is a part of consciousness, people are difficult because it is not so simple that it can be realized only by a single consciousness, and then it will be a strategy, tactics, technology, logic that how to accept what you thought of There will be, but when it comes to logic, I feel that what will be done as a result will be unnatural as something that came out of me, but my language is stranger I don't think I can do it more naturally, or I feel like my creation is more personal, and then I just build what I received.

So, in a nutshell, the natural perception is born from an attitude that separates expertise.

"The reason why it is not good"

If you are having fun making something, what do you think in your mind at that time, you can't make something without something, so there's always something or a clue? It seems to be.

Searching for clues is fun, but suddenly, I need clues.

If you think carefully, if you can't make it without clues, you can make it, whether it's good or bad.

In the first place, if you think in Japan that architecture is simple, you can build a pillar, build a roof, and cover it with walls. It just becomes architecture. Shinto shrines and temples are truly original architectures that are made of that much.

So, that 's not good.

I've always thought about the bad reason, but I can't beat it in front of the original architecture.

It's a problem, because if you were told that you didn't have to do that, you could blow it away.

Actually, there is a client, and after making a presentation after listening to the client's request, explain exactly why this happens in words. It doesn't end in a word, but it just depends on the technique of the presentation, and what I was thinking about now is what to do when building architecture in the first place. Before the request, of course, it is, of course, not a technical thing, but a design theory.

For example, even if you bring the design theory of various architects called modeling, it doesn't matter before the original architecture. If the historical and academic aspects become stronger, a certain persuasive power will appear in the design theory, but there are situations where it is not necessary to separate even the historical and academic aspects. There are more.

So, what I'm thinking about now is that it becomes more biased, and the strength of that bias makes it a base when people make something, whether they want to compete with the original architecture. In other words, we can only emphasize the difference from the original architecture.

"Like"

Although it seems to be "~", "~ like", or "~ wind" is not "~", it is natural, but it is misunderstood.

For example, you may behave as an "architect" or "behave as an architect", any occupation or title, but because that person is not or does not have that occupation or title, think so. Let 's go.

For example, "Japanese-style" cuisine is a Japanese-flavored dish, not Japanese, and "European-style" dishes are quite about, but they look like French or Italian food. It's not cooking.

The same is true of "Like me" or "Like me".

In the first place, when it becomes "~", "~" or "~", it becomes ambiguous and it is good if you are seeking the ambiguity, but the person who says unexpectedly does not seek that ambiguity, firmly You may be imagining something that is cluttered, but you may not be confident that you don't have words to tell you exactly, or that your head is not clear.

In addition, "~", "~" and "~ wind" are all things that seem to be determined from the outside, such as customary or common sense, and range. It may be useful, but the person itself, or itself, exists separately from it, and it has a separate origin, so if you want to be something inside you don't care I think that's true.

I don't think it's normal, but I usually think of myself as "~" or "~", so I'd like to imagine where it was removed.

"in spite of"

Recently met, from a surprised sentence,

"If you think about it, people can live normally, especially if they don't do self-expression. But nevertheless you want to express something. In such a natural context of "in spite of that", we may be surprised to see our original appearance. ]

A long time ago, Haruki Murakami's "Novel as a profession" was interesting, so it was better to read not only the text but also the person who made something. I've read "What I say when I talk about running" before, but in fact, I've never read a novel by Haruki Murakami and I wasn't interested in it. I didn't read it.

Then, recently, another person told me the same thing, so I started reading and met the first sentence.

If you make it normally, people will be pleased with it alone, thank you, and you can live with it, so I think that there is no such good thing, so you can live naturally, but the person who is making it, I feel unsatisfactory with what I'm finished with, I feel like it's boring, I think "even though", so I want to do something, I want to change something.

You can extract the contents of what you think so that you do not think so. It's a very simple and simple story.

However, if you do too much, you will eventually go in an unnatural direction and begin to do unnatural things. This time, I feel unsatisfactory in doing that very simple and simple thing, and I think that I have to have something of my own expression. Because it thinks that it is connected.

The question "Despite" reminded me that expressing myself was a very simple and simple story.

"Reality"

After the typhoon left, I was able to greet the clear blue sky comfortably the next morning, opened the shutters, inspected the house, and fortunately there was no damage and I was able to return to my normal life. When I think about the victims, my heart hurts, and on Facebook, the joy of rugby and the situation of the damage are reflected alternately, and then I feel that those facts are moving away from me. However, both are real and both are tough, but both extreme events are too much to keep up with reality.

I don't want to be overwhelmed by the fact that the strong typhoon feels that the reality is not catching up, the rain and wind are too severe, but I can't do anything, I just have to endure it. For this reason, this was not a reality, it was a fiction that could only be dealt with if you didn't think you got lost in the movie set.

So, I thought that it would be reset in the blue sky the next morning and forget about the heat if it is too close to my throat, but it will not go so easily, there is a continuation, and I am confused by the damage situation that is different from my situation, That was because I was also exposed to the same typhoon, so I couldn't calm down.

However, I still think what I should do tomorrow and what I have to do, so if I think that it is a willingness to make today and tomorrow different, I'm sure the calmness and feeling of sorrow I decided to take reality as a sign that my brain, body, or mind is trying to digest it.

"Power of nature"

As with the previous typhoon, my chest hurts when I think of the people who have suffered the damage. Even if you take all the measures, there is no way to do it before the power of nature that exceeds it. Surely people in the past, especially Japanese, have overcome this situation by accepting rather than resisting. Therefore, it seems that the flood control has improved from the past, and it seems that the Kanda River was often flooded when I was a child, and even if there were pros and cons, the dam reduced the damage caused by this typhoon.

Since water and food are commonplace, we cannot imagine that it will be lost, but if possible, the range of imagination is narrow. This time, the area I was in had no water outages or power outages, but it just happened that I was at home in the intense rain and wind, and I thought it would be a strange situation even if there was a power outage or a water outage. .

Measures are taken, batteries, solar panels, cassette stoves, food and water are stored as much as they can be stored, but if there is actually a power outage or water outage, how many days will it last, and how many days it will recover I didn't know, but it was difficult to take measures.

Because it is a natural thing, it may be a price for richness that it will not feel real or disappear, but it may be a price for richness, but even if there is enough power, food, water, it will be uneasy if it becomes a power outage or water cut Will not disappear.

What I thought most about the intense wind and rain was to spend my life and time as usual. If you take too many special measures, your anxiety will not disappear and you will get tired.

So, for people who are experiencing power outages and water outages, it is important to have power, food, and water, but I want them to be able to live and live as usual as soon as possible. It may take some time to restore your lifeline and place of residence, but if you can restore your life and time rhythms to normal, you will be much more calm and tired. Power can only accept and respond.

"Shelter of the heart"

I think the house is a shelter.

This is the first time I have taken countermeasures against a typhoon, the first time that all shutters have been closed, and the first three days before that.

This time, I was prepared for the first time because I was worried about the effects of the typhoon, and after a power outage, water cut off, and then what to do.

Until now, it was going to be somehow. Even if there was a power outage or water outage, it managed to manage it.

Some people in Chiba had a great feeling, replaced it with themselves, and stored water and food, what they always eat.

And the last is a house. No matter how much water and food you have, if you don't have a house, it has no meaning.

However, measures are limited. Simply put, what to do with the windows, the other is the potential problem of the house.

So, I don't want to say that I should make it sturdy, but I think that the house is a shelter, a heart shelter.

It's not like how a house is built, but the appreciation of the enclosed safety zone of the house, inside, thank you for being able to spend it without having anything to do with the outside, if there is a sense of security, if the house needs it, Is the best.

Roughly speaking, everything you do at home can be done outside. I can't afford to eat, sleep, or anything else. Let's have a safety zone.

If you experience it, your feelings for the house will change.

"The book I met"

I happened to pass in front of a bookstore that I had visited several times before, and I thought that there was time later on my way to my destination, but I thought back how I was before, specializing in design and architecture books, I can't remember what I thought it was before.

There is a government office nearby because it only goes about once a year, but it is a street with a lot of atmosphere, there are only local shops, butchers, fish shops, greengrocers, there is no supermarket, In the evening, shoppers for sugar beets are not overflowing, but they are moderate, there is also a touch, and shops are opened as young people like. Then, I found a shop that was the stage of the drama I saw before, the variations of the shop as shown in the table, from fashionable to downtown style, not much cars, and the city where you want to live, to the bookstore along that street I stopped by the errand.

The book is beautifully decorated, and you can see that it handles the design book from the atmosphere. Since the scale is small, there aren't many books, but there are many books that are unique to choice.

However, it did not match my hobby and there were not many books on architecture. I picked up and picked it up a little, and it was a lot of fun, but this time was quite fun, something different from a large bookstore, like looking at people's hobbies, yet something that I can sympathize with There is strangely a sense of affinity.

Two large books in a red box catch your eyes. Paul Klee's "Thinking of modeling" has upper and lower volumes, and I didn't know much about Clay, I was teaching at Bauhaus, and of course I didn't know the work or the book.

I was attracted to the title because I was attracted by the title, so what was written if it came to `` modeling '' and `` thinking '', but I did not expect so much, the black title letter was somewhat cool in the red box, Until then, I was watching the book while playing with it, so I would like to take a closer look.

I didn't even hear about Clay and this "Thinking of Thinking", and I did n't get to talk about anything around me. I was drawn from the page that I expanded.

When you look at each of the things that are logically developed in terms of words and illustrations, it explains the origins of modeling, and it's so easy to understand It was the first time I met a text that taught me exactly.

The words that come out there are words that I usually keep in mind when I design, but I have never met texts that are straightforwardly embedded in illustrations. Naturally, I'm curious and I want to read more carefully. Although it is only Amazon, there is this to go to the bookstore, so it was inevitable that it was already in hand.

"Philosophy"

In the book you are reading now, stop thinking about the trivial thoughts you have taken for granted in your daily life, re-question it, and try your own words. It doesn't matter, and it is written to love the process itself for free.

What I thought was taken for granted and that I didn't care about suddenly one day suddenly happened to happen, I heard it, heard it, words and images, etc. If you can throw a word or video that causes such things to change, something that is the natural consciousness will change greatly, I always think that it will be interesting if it can be done in architecture .

I think that there are a lot of treasures that I haven't noticed in my daily life, but it is difficult to notice it with my own power, and I need help from other than myself, and design helps I have thought of it for a long time, and compared it to "treasure hunting", and if I was a treasure hunter, showing the treasure that I found out changed my consciousness that I had never noticed before. If you tell me that I should start moving, I was laughed if I told a person in the past, but I still think the same way, so what is a treasure,

"The real treasure is so easy to find that anyone can see it, and it's hard to find it, and anyone can get it, so you can't make it your own." (From Hiroyuki Horibata's "Language Clothes" )

When I thought it was a treasure, I thought it was a special thing, something that was invisible, or something that was unique to me, but there were times when the nature of the thing itself was different from what I was seeing with my own eyes. I see, my awareness of treasure has changed.

I thought hard about what the treasure was, whether it was my own words, but I met the words in this book and fell into a trap quickly, and I reversed what I was doing in architecture Experienced from the standpoint of.

"Philosophy" Soak yourself in the process of loving yourself and receive help from other than yourself. Also, "Philosophy", this nesting process is comfortable, the more you can make this nesting, the more everyday you will be I felt like I could acquire everyday life.

"drawer"

Softly, I don't know if it's important or not, but it might be useful someday and it was an interesting story.

Along with what you felt at that time in the corner of your head and what you thought of at that time, let's finish the drawing in the head that Haruki Murakami says.

It was a fun and interesting story after a long time. Talking from a variety of perspectives, using scientific detection, historical recognition, and design thinking to think about and feel various things from a normal perspective, gives rise to unprecedented thoughts, It felt like a new circuit was created inside.

If it's easier to get people to teach from the beginning, and if you want to think beyond what you already know, you can read a book, ask people, search on the net, and then start thinking It's good, but it's boring, or maybe you've come up with something different from a person from the beginning, and that's definitely better and it's more fun.

So, for today, let's finish the drawer in my head, finish it without making any conclusions, open the drawer when someday comes, and think again. At that time, I have a different myself, so I may be waiting for a different development, and look forward to it.

"A balance between casual and dress of architecture"

The first thing to be aware of is the use of color when choosing clothes when going out. Depending on where you want to go, it is different if there is a dress code, but depending on the person you are going to meet, how much dressing is good, of course, even if you adjust the dress degree with items such as jackets and slacks, if you take off the jacket There is always a reference to the "dress and casual balance theory" by fashion advisor MB. According to the theory, even if it becomes a bright color even with a jacket, the degree of dress will decrease, so depending on the location it may become too casual and out of place.

Apple founder Steve Jobs, who died, was wearing jeans throughout the year, but spent the winter in a black turtleneck. According to the fashion adviser MB's "Theory of Dress-Casual Balance", black is the most dressed color, black and white used in ceremonial occasions are the most dressed, dark gray, dark blue, etc. A dark color close to black follows, and vivid chromatic colors such as red and yellow look the most casual, and the turtleneck has a higher collar part, the one with a collar has a higher dressing degree, and the T-shirt without a collar It looks casual.

So, at first glance, Steve Jobs is always jeans, and when compared to a suit, it seems to be casual and casual, but the dress is rather high, so it's not like a suit, the balance between dress and casual I was able to go to places where it was difficult to enter with suits, and I was wearing very reasonable clothes without inconvenience in going out and entering in most places.

It is a combination of calculated clothes that do not take time to choose clothes, but even the setup with the highest dress degree as an item will appear casual when the color becomes bright chromatic, so many clothes I think that it is the most robust to adjust the degree of dress by color so that it does not get out of place.

The architecture is still influenced by modernism, so it is white. In modernism, architecture has been treated as a role that enhances autonomy by erasing the previous ones, rather than color, by applying white to the finish in order to be autonomous from the highly narrative architecture.

In the case of architecture, white is a color with high autonomy, and when it is autonomy, it is exclusive and less familiar. In the case of clothes, it is also a high degree of dressing.

In modernism, there are also multicolored forms, such as the Dutch De Steil movement, and the work is a house designed by Rietveld, a world heritage "Schrader House" and also "Red" The blue chair is famous, but if you look at it, you can paint different colors for each element, such as walls and ceilings for a house, seats and backboards and armrests for a chair. Used to increase autonomy. Here too, multicolor was treated as a role to enhance the autonomy by erasing the previous ones rather than colors.

Color is an interesting thing in architecture. Historically, color is rather the leading role, but plays a role in helping autonomy in modernist architecture. But now, walking around the city is full of colors. Rather than the differences between items such as jackets and slacks in terms of clothes, the color first jumps into the eyes first, and it is also chromatic and highly casual, with a high degree of casualness in life There are more opportunities to be surrounded by architectural space. However, the casual color is left out of consciousness in architecture.

When choosing clothes when going out, the first thing to notice is the use of color, but the next thing to watch out for is the balance between dress and casual. If this is also wrong, it will be out of place.

If you think about replacing the balance between dress and casual with architecture, it may be that something is missing, which in turn leads to inconvenient and out of place situations. When that happens, the color becomes the leading role.

"Workability"

The distorted shape of the vessel with a green color, and the distinctive vessel that can be seen as a work imitating Oribe Yaki or Oribe Yaki, the author's Furuta Oribe, was finally cut off. Then, it seems that sinner's works disappeared all at once, and disappeared.

Bowl it was up to a neat roundhouse began distortion. From a bowl that is black, rugged, and samurai-like, with distortion and roundness removed, it was born rounded, distorted and colored.

Black rustic, a roundhouse, when surely accounts for the many bowl worthy of the samurai, it probably came to be given the equivalent of the value and authority.

Sonaruto, as the rich person creativity, and want to break the authoritarian ones, aware of the value of those not in discarded opponent until then, attention.

In the rounded or distortion, value of as rugged more bowl neat, along the way of the tea ceremony, probably it found a more accentuate appearance.

It is difficult to measure and know the path, but the Oribe ware of that era, which can still be seen today, is not just distorted and interesting, but from the neat and rugged thing that appears and hides in its shape and color. I feel the strength that I was born in, and the depth and depth of the ocean that swallows black and big things in a mild and soft impression.

It is wonderful to shake the consciousness of the present person by looking at the amazing things left from the time when people died in one vessel, looking at it now, what is beauty there, and what is workability.

"How to capture changes"

There is a trend in the things that are made, and as it goes without saying, it changes with the times.

Whether it is fashion, the world of art, or architecture, it changes with the times. Of course, what is required by the times will be different, and the way of thinking, value standards, life and customs will change, so if society changes, the things you make will be affected and the closer you are to life, the more it will change. Become sensitive.

However, it seems that the way of change, the manner of change, and the flow of change are similar.

In short, the part that had been thrown away, the part that had been ignored, and the part that had not been dealt with gradually became the focus of attention, and it turned into a leading role. It does not change suddenly, but gradually changes gradually.

There was an attempt to compare the Seto Black Tea Bowl according to the times. The rustic, neat and large black tea bowl that Samurai likes is beginning to distort. Distortion and curving of the curve were eliminated in order to bring out neatness and ruggedness. Tinged. Eventually, from the time of Samurai to the time of the townspeople, it became a tea bowl with a rounder and milder impression, from a large one to a small one.

In the case of architecture as well, in order to become autonomous in modernism, the emphasis is placed on visuality, and the decorations such as place and materiality that were included in the narrative nature that architecture had so far have been removed, It became a form, focused on space, and aimed to be able to build similar structures anywhere in the world. The modernism also changes. At the destination of modernism, there is an authoritative climate by space and the importance of regionality, etc., and attention has been focused on the excluded place nature and materiality, and it changed to post-modernism .

In this way, even if the genre is different, the way of change is similar, and attention is drawn to what was excluded, and it also changes to the leading role. Like a pendulum, it doesn't come and go according to the times, and it doesn't change suddenly, so it may be paralleled in the same time, but basically one of them will flow.

I am confident that I will be able to express both the ambiguity and the flow of both at the same time and express the complex state as it is. It doesn't change abruptly, so if you just express what you're looking for in that era, you will feel like it's natural to have a complex sense of ambiguity. However, the lifetime of the value of the thing itself may be short, because it captures the moment of the time, but the value of the era is high, so I think that it may be good.

"Supplement"

I touched the word "supplement" attached to the box writings on the dry mountain lid.

What is the work, what is the writer's nature, the lid to think about, when deciding market value, the writer's character is meaningful, and as a work I felt that the writer would handle everything It was unexpected.

I often see gold splices that repair a little chipping or cracking. There is a workability in how to join and make up the splicing.

Only this lid, the bottom and the lid, make up the dry mountain, from the bottom to the edge of the bowl. It is exactly "supplement", and more than half is supplemented.

Perhaps the cracked part of the bowl is neatly shaped, leaving only the bottom, and the other part is added to make up, and the pattern of the lid is applied to the part, the shape is the same as the original bowl, and the pattern is the original one It may be different from that. In that case, it is clearly not a restoration, but a work for further work.

Somehow, I imagine the production landscape. It makes me think about what kind of feelings I made up for. Perhaps it was a job that was asked. Although it has writer characteristics, work characteristics, and market value, it was mysteriously attracted to the appearance of this lid in front of me.

The edges are flattened to emphasize the thickness, reminiscent of the folk song favorite potter, Inju Nakai Kiln, but it does not match the shape of the lid holder.

On the spot, I felt that the shape from the original bottom to the newly complemented porridge was different from the original porridge shape. I don't know why, but I felt like I was doing a lot of work.

I came home and looked at the picture of the lid, and when I looked from the side, the shape of the lid and the shape of the bowl do not match, but the shape of the lid is rounded, but there are traces in the bowl In addition, the angle of the original bottom part was different from the compensated part, and it seemed that the shape would become more rounded when supplemented to the angle of the bottom.

It is a lid that imaginates. "Supplement" may have stimulated creativity.

Perhaps the lid and the bottom were different, the picture was different, the two things were combined into one, and the word "supplement" was left behind.

I thought that the world of antiquities was more of a type, but it might be because there is a type that is free, but the fun to imagine looking back on the creation is the same as the fun to create from scratch I felt it.

"concentration"

I think that each person has a different way of creating. In the case of architecture, there are many people who have their own way of thinking about architecture, and when a project occurs, they take the way of thinking that conforms to the project conditions.

There will be no one who doesn't have any thoughts at all. First of all, after receiving an education in architecture and being influenced by something, my ideas about architecture are nurtured to some extent.

I think each person has different strengths or differences in their way of thinking about the architecture.

There are standard ways to proceed with the project, and it progresses in the order of client requests and conditions, site survey, plan review, basic plan, implementation plan, construction, etc. Infiltrate together. Since the concentration is low, it easily penetrates and there is no resistance. Even if the concentration is low, there is no change in the effect if you hit a fixed amount.

People with a high concentration will apply the project to their own way of thinking about architecture. If the density is not matched well, the project itself will not proceed well, and the project may not flow in the standard way. In that case, if the project is not steered firmly, the results will be affected.

Neither is good or bad, but when you look at the resulting architecture, people with a high concentration will be attracted to it, as it will have distinctive features as architecture.

"You don't have to know"

Finding what you want to know is really easy and you can get it right on your smartphone. That's why there are many people who know that it is natural to know, that it is natural to know, or that it is embarrassing if they do not know.

Regardless of whether the information you get on your smartphone is really worth it or not, whether it's knowledge, for example, it's harder to forget your smartphone than to forget your wallet. It has become natural to have.

So, conversely, the information that can be checked with a smartphone can be understood as soon as necessary when you need it, so if you do not need to know the information that you can check with a smartphone .

You should be able to do a lot of things on your smartphone, and then you don't have to know a lot.

It can be thought that there is now an environment that you can't understand on your smartphone, and that you can concentrate on your daily life with only knowledge that is very important to you. There is now an environment where you can concentrate only on what you like, important and important to you as you wouldn't have thought before in the days when there was no smartphone or internet.

People who still find value in what they know may be those who are not interested in the content of the information and just like collecting catalogs and looking at them from a distance. That's fun, but I think it would be richer to try to touch information that isn't available on a smartphone.

"Misleading"

Finally, you can see the clues to the complexities, and if you go ahead, you will be able to solve the problem, so if you are preparing, make a mistake at the beginning and return to the beginning.

If complicated things are applied to a type and organized, it will be easy for everyone to understand and the results and outlook will be easy, but if that does not give the desired result, we will have to rethink from the type itself. It took a lot of time and effort, and sometimes it became more complicated, so if I thought it was strange, I misunderstood it at the beginning.

When that happens, my feelings get worse, but if I apply it to the mold, it doesn't produce the desired result, and I have pulled out the material to rethink it from scratch.

I think of other methods, but in short, it is easy if it is simplified, but in this case, I feel that there is a great possibility in the part that is discarded by simplification, so far I'm trying to focus on the parts I hadn't thought about.

This makes it more complicated than organizing complex things, making it difficult to notice simple mistakes. It's just an excuse, but if you come to this point, you'll find a clue to solving it unless you pick it up further.
