どこに佇むか
見渡す限りの広い野原があったとして、その広い野原の中で佇むとしたら、どこを選ぶだろうかと考えてみた。
別に野原でも何でもよいのだが、人が自分の居場所を選ぶ時に根源的に何を基準とするかを考えてみたかったので、とりあえず、そもそもの場所にあまり特徴が無い、なるべくニュートラルな場所を思い浮かべみた。どうして野原がニュートラルな場所かという話もあるが、それはとりあえず置いておく。
ちょっとでも窪んだ所を探すかもしれない。それとも穴を掘るか。とにかく身を隠せそうな場所、木があれば、その根元を居場所とするかもしれない。
あまりにも広くてオープンな場所では落ち着かないので、周りから目立たない場所、あるいは同化できる場所を探して佇む場所とするだろう。
