"Design of rules to stop in the middle"

If you look at everything as a pattern and scrape it off as much as possible, you can reduce it to geometric figures such as rectangles, triangles, and circles. Geometric shapes are so simple that they can't be omitted anymore, so they have a primitive appeal, but I want to add something.

Originally, the geometric figure is at the destination of the reduction, so if you stop in the middle of the reduction, a geometric figure that is just right should appear. However, history proves that it cannot be stopped in the middle and something is added like a swing back.

If so, it will be a general solution if the rules of the process are designed with the intention of stopping in the middle of the reduction from the beginning and if it is reproducible in itself.
