広さとか、距離とか
バッファーゾーン、緩衝地帯を広く広く拡張していくと、もはやそれは部屋のような、そうで無いような、中途半端な空間ができる。
バッファーゾーンは主役ではないから緩衝地帯なので、広くなれば、だた面積が広くなるだけで、不思議なもので、別の意味が出てくる。部屋もそうだが、部屋の中でもメイン使いの空間になる。
「広い」というだけで別の意味が出てくるのは面白い。
狭小住宅は広く見せることは出来ても、実際は狭いから、狭い中から優先順位をつけて割り振るようなところがあるけれど、元々広く取れる状況ならば、広さをコントロールするだけのデザインでいろいろな意味合いの空間を出現させることができるかもしれない。
ただシンプルに、広さだけを考えて、広さを扱うことは、距離も扱うことになる。
様々な距離をデザインすることになる。もしかしたら、そうした距離感だけをただデザインすることによって、もっと人の根源的な部分に影響を及ぼすことになるかもしれない。人と人の関係とか、人と建築の関係とか。
バッファーゾーンも別の見方をすると距離の話だし、もっと広さとか、距離とかを意識してみよう。
