壁が空間を決めない
スケール感は字義通り感覚なので目には見えないが、スケール感の違いは見た目の違いによって表現できる。注目をしているのはスケール感の違う物同士の接点であり、それは接線となるかもしれないが、そこにはスケール感の違いが感覚的にあり、その感覚は違和感であり、その違和感のつながりが境界となっていて、そのスケール感の違いの連なりも見た目に表現されており、その境界で囲まれた部分はひとつの領域として認識されることになる。
つまり、スケールがひとつの領域をつくり出す。そこには壁は無く、見た目にはつながっており、しかし、感覚的には境界がはっきりとあるのがわかる状態をつくり出せる。
そうすると、どのようなスケールをつくり出すかが、どのような領域をつくるかにつながり、壁をつくることが領域、それを空間と言い換えることができると考えてるので、空間を決めることにならない。
"The wall does not determine the space"
The sense of scale is literally invisible to the eye, but the difference in sense of scale can be expressed by the difference in appearance. What we are paying attention to is the point of contact between objects with different scale feelings, which may be tangent, but there is a sensuous difference in scale feeling, and that feeling is strange, and that feeling of strangeness. The connection is a boundary, and the series of differences in the sense of scale is also visually expressed, and the part surrounded by the boundary is recognized as one area.
In other words, the scale creates one area. There are no walls there, they are visually connected, but you can create a state where you can feel the boundaries clearly.
Then, what kind of scale is created leads to what kind of area is created, and I think that creating a wall can be rephrased as an area, which can be rephrased as a space, so the space is not decided.
