コンテクストが自律を即す
コンテクストに左右される建築、と昔から考えていた。その土地、その場所でなければ実現できない建築というのが理想だろうとも考えてきた。その土地の周辺環境のコンテクストを読み取り設計に反映させるのが当たり前だとも考えてきた。
コンテクストに左右されることは建築が自律できなくて他律になることではあるが、建築を左右するような影響力があるコンテクストを読み取る必要があり、その読み取りで差異が生まれ、もしかしたら、コンテクストを設計に反映させることが自律につながることもあるのではないかと考えている。

I think that reflecting this in the design may lead to autonomy.
