形とコトの関係性
形とコトには関係性があるだろうか。モノと形は形があってモノとなるから、モノ=形といえるかもしれないが、コトにはそもそも形が無いので、コトを形にする時は何を手掛かりにするのだろうか。
形になる手掛かりは幾何学的な要素を持っているか、幾何学的な要素につながるかであり、コトの中にそのような要素を見出すことができればいいのだが、無い場合は幾何学的な要素と無理矢理にでも結びつける必要がある。
コトはコトのまま形を与えなければ、それはそれで建築以外ならば成り立つが、建築にするにはコトを形にする必要がある。だから、形とコトの関係性を考えることは建築行為そのものといえる。

The clue to the shape is whether it has a geometric element or it leads to a geometric element, and it would be nice if such an element could be found in the thing, but if not, it is geometric. It is necessary to forcibly connect the elements.
If you don't give a shape as it is, it will work except for architecture, but to make it architecture, you need to shape it. Therefore, it can be said that thinking about the relationship between shape and things is the act of building itself.
