つなぐ、変換
今は見えない、かつてあったものに思いを馳せて、つながりを持ちたいと考えた時に何に注目し、そこから何を抽出すればいいのだろうか。
無くなる建築、建て替わる建築、それらは時のサイクルだとしたら仕方は無いが、それでも何かつながりを持てれば無くなった建築から未来に向けて何か残すことができるかもしれない。
建築には記憶や愛着が宿る。記憶や愛着をつなぎたい。記憶や愛着はそれ自体実体が無い。自体が無いものを形にするには、何かに変換する必要がある。
"Connect, convert"
What should we focus on and extract from what we once had, which we can't see now, and when we want to make a connection?
It can't be helped if it's a cycle of time, architecture that disappears, architecture that rebuilds, but even so, if we have some connection, we may be able to leave something from the lost architecture to the future.
Architecture has memories and attachments. I want to connect my memories and attachments. Memories and attachments have no substance in themselves. In order to make something that doesn't exist, it needs to be converted into something.
