"Value in Virtual Architecture"

Aren't digitalized things a work?

Both paintings and writings are drawn on canvas and semi-paper, so they are valuable as paintings and writings, and when you use software on a monitor to create similar works and exchange data, no one finds the value of paintings and writings in it Although it may be worth other digital works.

Architecture is the same, and you can build architecture in a virtual way, and even if you can get inside and experience it, there is no architectural value.

It is not clear if you think about what is different and how much the difference in substance or data means.

Whether it is canvas or paper, or digital data, the author's work comes out, and so is architecture. Even if the author's work has something to do with it, is it worthless without it?

However, in the case of architecture, it can not live there unless it is an entity, and there is no business. So you may not find value unless it is more tangible than paintings and books.

In that case, it is the first thing to decide the value for the construction, it is the first thing, to be substantive, for the time being, if it is possible to live there and if it is sufficient to satisfy the business, then fulfill the business and whether it can live there. For example, the interpretation that it does not matter afterward is also valid.

Then there is nothing worthwhile in other things, and the design is nothing more than a mere satisfaction of the architect, or it is different, so it is better to find value in the architecture in the virtual, which is likely to be in the near future I feel that.

"Don't own"

Everything is gone.

Architecture is the same. But I do not decide the end has not been decided. Although the useful life will eventually come, it will only be for business to turn on the premise that it will continue to be built for several decades, only the time of its end will be decided, the end of construction will be vague, and will only match with the business.

Do not own land or buildings, the time is limited, what will happen if there is an end.

If time comes to an end, yes, next time, will the way of thinking about architecture change?

Land and buildings will not be property, so there will be no value, lower land prices, lower construction costs, or no cost, and if you do, you will change the concept of architecture, it will likely be a distant future I will.

"Digitization is natural"

Everything is gone.

People die in one day and no one is eternal in the world, but people try to leave their own footprints. Because it is impossible in the first place, it causes unreasonableness.

I almost thought that I would not write handwriting, but I thought that I would only draw sketches on paper by hand, but it was also digitized, had no notes, and records were kept on devices such as the iPhone and iPad, but there was no substance If you leave it in the state and don't know if there is any process from the beginning, because architecture is a real entity, it feels like it becomes clear what you will leave as a real entity, but that architecture will also disappear someday.

The reality I'm seeing now is actually a dream, and it may only be that morning hasn't come, because it won't cling to reality, so I think it's okay if there's no notebook, and it's a nature if it's a dream It is an act, so if it is a dream, digitization will happen naturally.

The virtual world invented by humans is a dream world, and we do not know whether it is a dream or a reality. It's interesting that the world the human came to actually is closest to the dream you see every day, and it's funny for a week and a half that you finally don't think of the point of the human back.

If the boundary between reality and dream is obscured, it is natural that digitization will occur, so it may be right in the dream now, it is still morning.

"The smell of life is lively"

I will be attracted to the architecture and the city where the sense of life is starting to be said to be a smell of life.

Speaking in the city, people under Manhattan in New York, Hong Kong, and downtown Tokyo.

As far as architecture is concerned, it is not at the moment, but it seems that it is more interesting to have something messy than being in order, even though the Kowloon Castle in Hong Kong is insecure.

In Kowloon Castle, the appearance may be described as the only laundry that expresses a sense of life, but the inside is sloppyly public and so attractive that it seems to be a part of the city.

Why are you so attracted? The same is true for people, but it may be the same as having a person who complains with a genuine feeling of life, rather than posing in a well-shaped manner, but it is the same thing that bothers me.

However, there is a need to pay attention to privacy. If you can not do that, people will not open their minds, and the life smell they see will be alive.

"From diverse architecture to city"

Have you ever seen your personal space turn out? Private goods can be seen from the outside, but that is the smell of life, life itself, there is diversity as people's faces are all different, and when it comes out, it just combines diversity. Architecture, and gathering such buildings will create a diverse city.

It is premised that there is good diversity, but it has a strong unity architecture, a typical example is a house, a residential area where the houses are gathered, a representative of a unitary city, but a representative of a diverse city An example is downtown, the image is Kabukicho in Shinjuku, which is attractive as a city, depending on what you seek in the city, but Kabukicho feels like there is a problem in crime prevention, but Kabukicho As the city sees as a city, various events occur, various human patterns are unfolded, and various things are complicated and I think it is interesting.

Certainly Kabukicho may have a problem with crime prevention, but as a residential area, a long time ago, or still, residential areas in Setagaya are areas where severe damage was caused by vulture, problems with crime everywhere, types It may be different, but it turns around.

So, because cities with diversity are more interesting, they seek diversity, both cities and buildings.

It is natural to be conscious of privacy and not wanting to be seen, so it is clear that there is resistance against seeing life itself from the outside, and even if you actually create a glass-covered architecture, you They set up blinds and do not actually see them from the outside, they actually do when they actually live, and the meaning of the glazing disappears as soon as they begin to live, something that architects are likely to do.

As a rhetoric, it would be nice if life looked as if it were seen from the outside, but in a whole fiction, with theme park, Disneyland, it is boring as it is architecture, so I don't want to do it.

If you use rhetoric, like a glass curtain, you won't get it in real life, I've heard that some residents don't care even if they are glazed, but the potential of the residents Rather than relying on architecture, I would like to realize a diverse and diverse architecture that the architecture itself has.

"Aim for a personal space that is not copy"

We are proceeding with multi-family housing plans with the purpose of finding and realizing what is possible from gathering and living.

However, I think that it is best from the beginning if it is possible to gather and live from the personal space of each resident, and the main space of the collective housing is still the personal space of each resident. The most important thing to do is to build a common apartment house efficiently, and to secure as many dwellings as possible, it is not a personal space that is possible because you gather and live, it is simply water in a single-family private room It's like copying things around, so I thought it would have been a while since I started learning architecture.

In the case of collective housing, it is important to ensure profitability, so it is necessary to secure as many homes as possible, if possible, the maximum number of homes, and it is possible because it is possible to gather and live, because the personal space However, it is not to rely on the abilities of residents and tenants, but to realize the architectural nature that the architecture itself has.

So, architectural is also a category of design, but it is not only that, I think in my head that there may be more different aspects, and I have a variety of trips.

"Appealing to the architectural nature"

In the past, it was the aim of collective housing planning to create a personal space that would be possible for the first time, as it would gather and live.

We want to realize that personal space with the architectural features that the building can originally have.

For example, a resident may be a tenant, but individual specific abilities do not create a personal space that is only there, but in the first place, the personal space that is only there because of the characteristics that the building itself has I want to be produced.

If you bring a distinctive resident, you will customize your own living space as you like and create a personal space, if you include a distinctive tenant, it will only create a unique personal space Especially if you don't need to be architectural.

Rather, by virtue of its architectural nature, it would be an attraction of its architecture that would allow anyone to create a personal space that is only there.
