目には見えないが建築に影響を与えるもの
ここのところ温熱環境について知識を蓄えている。来年から省エネ基準が義務化されるから、それに備えるためでもあるが、簡単にいうと、太陽の日射しは熱を持っているので、冬はその熱を利用し、夏はその熱を遮断し、快適な室温を効率良く保つための方法で、熱という目には見えない物を扱っている。
ちなみに、高気密高断熱だけでは一年を通して快適な室温を保つことはできない。その辺をプロでもわかっている人が少ない。
住宅という物を目には見えない熱に焦点を当てて、その快適性を室温で表現して設計しようという試みだが、もちろん、室温だけで快適な住宅にはならないが、目には見えない物が目の前に実物として存在している住宅という物に何らかの影響を与えるというところが面白く、それはデザインでも同じである。
デザインは目に見える形だけで表現されているように思われるかもしれないが、目には見えない何らかの影響を与えることを意図していて、少なくとも作者はそう考えているだろう。
だから、熱もデザインの範疇として扱えると考えれば、何らかの熱によるデザインも出現するだろうし、あと目には見えないが何らかの影響を与えるものは、建築の中だけでもまだまだたくさんあるから、例えば、感触などで、それをうまくデザインに取り入れることによって、まだ見ぬ新しい建築の姿がそこに隠されているかもしれない。

The design may seem to be expressed only in a visible form, but it is intended to have some invisible effect, at least the author would think so.
Therefore, if we think that heat can be treated as a category of design, some kind of heat-induced design will appear, and there are still many things that are invisible but have some influence in architecture alone, so for example, feel. By incorporating it into the design well, the appearance of a new architecture that has not yet been seen may be hidden there.
