人より遥かに大きいスケールの建築があり、建築は人と同じくらいのスケールを内包し、人は建築に内包された同じくらいのスケールとだけ対峙できる。遥かに大きいスケールは感じ取ることしかできず、同じくらいのスケールから想像するしかなく、建築のスケールは人と同じくらいから遥かに大きいものまで連続的に変化していることが前提になる。

もし連続的に変化せずに、断絶したり、不連続に変化をしたら、どうなるのだろうか、感じ取り方が変わるのだろうか。

建築において人がいることが前提ならば、スケールの操作だけで違う建築になるかもしれない。
