どうしても事業性から考えると、ちょっとでも大きく、高くとなるのは仕方ないが、事業性だけで建築は決まる訳ではないし、街並みと齟齬を起こした建築には人が違和感を覚え、人が集まらなくなるかもしれない。

そうなると、分け方にはかなりのパターンが存在し、決め手に欠くので、また他の要素を入れることになる。

その工夫しだいで、オープンでありながら、プライバシーが確保されている状態がつくれるだろう。

ただ、建築の歴史を辿ると、建築が社会を規定できるというところからスタートするから新しい建築が生まても来た。建築が社会を反映するならば、そのスタートは社会を追認することだから、そこでは見慣れた風景の建築は生まれても、新しさは生まれない。

そう考えると、若い人が都会に出たがるのもわかる気がした。
