建築空間は機能から自由になれないと、人の気分や感情を反映することはできない。それは、機能には人の気分や感情が含まれないから、機能によって決められた建築空間では人の気分や感情を反映できない。

別に気分や感情を反映できなくても良いが、建築を人との関係性の中で考えようとしたならば、どうしても気分や感情が絡んでくる。人は当たり前のように日々、気分や感情の振幅の中で生きているから、それに対しての建築の在り方は問われる部分だろう。

ところが、機能と切っても切れない関係性の建築空間では、人の気分や感情の扱いは疎かになるというか、登場して来なくなるし、そもそも扱えない、言説だけで扱ったような気分にはなれるが。

だから、建築空間と機能を切り離すために「装飾」に目をつけた。

"Feature ≠ Feeling"

If the architectural space cannot be freed from its functions, it cannot reflect people's moods and emotions. Because functions do not include human moods and emotions, the architectural space determined by the functions cannot reflect human moods and emotions.

You don't have to be able to reflect your mood and emotions, but if you try to think about architecture in a relationship with people, you will inevitably have moods and emotions involved. People live in the amplitude of mood and emotions every day, so it is a matter of course how architecture should be addressed.

However, in an architectural space that has an inseparable relationship with function, people's moods and emotions are treated sparsely, or they do not appear, and they can not handle them in the first place. I can peel off.

Therefore, I focused on "decoration" to separate the function from the architectural space.
