何か足りない
そのものよりも、何かを経て垣間見えるものに興味がある。装飾ならば、表に見える色や形や柄よりも、それが形成される過程に興味が湧くし、装飾の存在の仕方がまだ完全では無くて、何か足りなくて、何かが加われば成立するような不完全な状態に興味が湧く。
そのものズバリで完成された状態は、それはそれで完全無欠な様の完璧さに憧れと羨望感はあるが、例えば建築で言えば、インドのタージマハルは建築自体が最高峰の美術工芸品であるから、それ自体の美しさは素晴らしいのだが、一瞬で飽きる、あとは関心が無い。
あと少しその場で人が何かを加えると真の姿が現れるような事に惹かれる。
"Something is missing"
I'm more interested in something glimpsed through something than in itself. If it's a decoration, I'm more interested in the process by which it is formed than in the colors, shapes, and patterns that can be seen on the table, and the way the decoration is not yet complete, if something is missing and something is added I am interested in the imperfect state that holds.
The state completed in Zubari itself has a longing and envy of perfection of completeness. The beauty in itself is wonderful, but I get tired of it in a moment, and I have no interest.
I am attracted to the fact that when a person adds something on the spot, the true appearance appears.
