諸条件だけでできている建物ばかりである。建築がその時に存在するためには建築性が必要になるはずなのに、それがはじめから無いか、無視されている。それは諸条件が、それを事業性と言い換えてもいいが、優先されているということであり、それは経済性のみが判断材料になっていると言っても過言ではない。

では、建築デザインは諸条件と建築性のどちらに属するのか、本来は建築性のはずなのだが、どうも諸条件に含まれてしまう現状がある。

その時の建築デザインを決めるには、歴史的蓄積や時代背景などの流行や社会的動向や哲学的思考、審美的見方などの建築性が複雑に絡み合い、何をどのように扱うのか、どのように判断するのかを設計者が考え、建築デザインに反映させるのだが、そもそも建築性が無いか、無視をされている現状で、ただ建築デザインという行為は存在しているので、建築性なき建築デザインが諸条件に属していることになる。だから、程度の差はあるがラブホみたいな建築がたくさん存在することになる。

ではなぜ、無くても建物は建つのに、建築性が必要かというと、人間に例えるとわかりやすいかもしれないが、建築性とは人間性に当たる。人間といった場合、それは社会の中での一般的な量的な人を差す、だから誰でもいいが、そこに人間性が加わると特定の個性がある人になる。

すなわち、建築性が無ければ、どこにでもあるただの建物と同じであり、それではその建物を使う建主の個性を反映することは無く、満足させることはできない。だから建築性が必要になる。
