佇める場所をつくり出す

佇める場所はなかなかあるものでもなくて、それは家か、自宅かといわれれば、自宅でわざわざ佇むという表現も使わないような、どこか佇む場所というのは非日常な、でもそこは静寂が支配し、清らかなイメージがある。

佇める場所を外でとなると、なかなか思い浮かばないというか、個人的には京都の寺院を思い出したりして、それもやはり場所であったり、建築であったりする物が佇める感覚を与えてくれる。

では物として何がその佇める感覚を与えてくれるのだろうか、その答えを形や大きさといったスケールに求めてみたいと考えた。

すぐに思いついたのが囲われ感で、壁や天井、緑などといったものにヒューマンスケールで囲われている場所にいる時は、佇めるという感覚が起こりそうな気がする。それは建築の用途を問わずにあり得るかもしれない。

しかし、本当に小さな建築、飲食店兼料理教室では、囲われ感を出すために、さらに平面的に空間を細分化することには無理がありそうだ。

"Creating a place to stand"

There is no place to stand, and if it is said that it is a home or a home, it is unusual to stand there somewhere, but there is a quiet place. Dominates and has a pure image.

When I'm outside the place where I stand, it's hard to think of it, or I personally remember the temples in Kyoto, and I feel that it's a place or an architectural thing. Give me.

Then, I wanted to find the answer to what scale gives shape, size, and so on.

I immediately thought of being surrounded, and when I was in a place surrounded by human scales such as walls, ceilings, greens, etc., I felt like I could stand. It may be possible regardless of the architectural use.

However, in a really small building, restaurant/cooking class, it seems impossible to subdivide the space further in order to create a feeling of being enclosed.
