壁の組み替え
敷地の周辺環境のコンテクストには簡単に影響されてしまうもので、建築は動かず敷地の範囲内にとどまるだけにコンテクストの影響から逃げることができない。ならば、コンテクストの書き換えができないものかと考えた。
実際には敷地を超えてコンテクストに直接に物理的影響を与えることはできないので、自身の敷地の中でのコンテクストの解釈を組み換えることによって、コンテクストの書き換えを試みようとした。
コンテクストが一番端的に現れるのは建築の部位でいうとどこかと考えた時に、まず壁が思い浮かんだ。コンテクストにより空間配置が決まるとしたら、その空間配置が視覚的に一番わかりやすく現れているのが壁であり、その壁によって人のアクティビティも決まるので、壁に対して何らかの組み替えを行えばコンテクストの書き換えにつながるだろうと考えた。
"Recombining walls"
It is easily influenced by the context of the surrounding environment of the site, and the architecture does not move and stays within the range of the site, so it cannot escape from the influence of the context. Then, I wondered if the context could be rewritten.
In reality, it is not possible to directly affect the context beyond the site, so I tried to rewrite the context by rearranging the interpretation of the context within my own site.
When I thought about where the context would appear most clearly in terms of architectural parts, the wall first came to my mind. If the spatial arrangement is determined by the context, the wall is the one where the spatial arrangement is most visually understandable, and the activity of the person is also determined by the wall, so if some kind of rearrangement is performed on the wall, the context I thought it would lead to rewriting.
