自らをコンテクストにして再構築
コンテクストとどのように対峙するかを考えざるを得ない、この風景を見たらそう考えてしまう。延々と続く更地、立ち退きによってできたスペース、必ず変わることが決まっている風景、そこに置く建築、周辺環境のコンテクストを無視しては何も考えられない。
だから、この状況でコンテクストを無視しても成り立つ建築は有り得るのだろうかと考えてみる。たぶん、その答えはそう簡単には見つからないかもしれないが、様々な可能性は考えてみる。
単純に周辺環境のコンテクストを無視するならば、自らをコンテクストにして内部空間を再構築する方法はあり、それはリノベーションで使う手法である。一旦周辺環境のコンテクストより構築し、タイムラグ無く次の段階でその構築されたものをコンテクストとして読み取り、その上で内部空間を再構築する。こうすると結果的にでき上がる建築は当初の周辺環境のコンテクストとは関係がない様に見える。

I have to think about how to confront the context, and when I see this landscape, I think so. I can't think of anything if I ignore the endless vacant lots, the space created by evictions, the landscape that is sure to change, the architecture that is placed there, and the context of the surrounding environment.
Therefore, I wonder if there is an architecture that can be established even if the context is ignored in this situation. Perhaps the answer may not be so easy to find, but consider the various possibilities.
