誘惑する建築

関心を惹くには情報量を増やすしかない。情報量が人のアクティビティを即す。これは仕上げの話で、遠目から見て外観の仕上げに予想がつき、近づいて見て確認して同じでは情報量が少ない。遠景も近景も同じような仕上げに見えるということは、外観が人に与える情報量としては限りなくゼロに近く、人がわざわざ近づこうとするアクティビティが誘発されない。

情報量の多い外観は、遠景と近景で見え方が違うか、近景にはまた別の表情がある。単に遠景と近景で見え方が違うだけでも人のアクティビティは誘発される。建築は見るもの、使うものだけではなく、人を誘惑するものでもある。

"Tempting architecture"

The only way to get attention is to increase the amount of information. The amount of information matches a person's activity. This is a finishing story, and you can expect the finish of the appearance from a distance, and if you look closely and check it, the amount of information is small. The fact that the distant view and the near view look the same means that the amount of information that the appearance gives to a person is infinitely close to zero, and the activity that the person bothers to approach is not induced.

The appearance with a lot of information may look different between the distant view and the near view, or the near view has a different expression. People's activities are triggered simply by the difference in appearance between the distant view and the near view. Architecture is not only what you see and use, but also what tempts people.
