暮らしの建築化
建築が建築以外のことと結びついて存在したら建築としての価値は半減するのだろうか。
例えば、住宅の場合だと、建築とは関係がないことで満載であり、それを一言で言えば「暮らし」かもしれないが、建築は単なる箱、容れ物で、中身は建築とは関係がない「暮らし」で満たされていると考えた場合、「暮らし」に合わせた建築が登場する。
その場合の建築は純粋な意味での建築ではなく、「暮らし」の一部、「暮らし」に括られたものになる。その時の建築は純粋な意味での建築の価値を越えるだろうか。それは「暮らし」の中から何を抽出して建築化するかによるだろう。
