壁と暮らしの関係性
壁を図面上に表記する時、二重線を使う。二重線で壁を描き、内と外を分ける、部屋を分ける、領域を分ける。
あくまでも二重線は壁であるという意味しか持たない。だから、簡単なスケッチだと単線で表記することもある。
壁で分けられた領域が問題であり、壁は境界でしかない。
その壁には、耐力壁と非耐力壁という分け方もある。耐力壁は、建築の構造上、地震や風圧力に対抗するために必要な壁である。それは計画した建築を構造計算することによって決まる。その時に耐力壁として必要な長さ、厚みが決まる。耐力壁以外の壁は全て非耐力壁。
詳細な図面を描く時は、耐力壁の大きさを詳細に書き込みして表記するが、それ以外では、耐力壁も非耐力壁も、ただの二重線で連続的に表記する。
実際に完成した建築でも耐力壁と非耐力壁の区別は見た目では分からない。だから、耐力壁でも、非耐力壁でも、壁で分けられる領域だけが問題であり、壁は境界でしかない。
その壁に様々な物が取り付く、キッチンや水回り、エアコンや照明などの設備。壁に、その内部も含めて、日常生活に必要なものがほとんど全て取り付くと考えてもよい。
今まで、壁と暮らしの関係性を考えたことが無かった。それはインテリアデザインの範疇に含まれるようにも思うが、ここではその範疇外のことを考えている。
壁と暮らしの関係性は、言い換えれば、建築と人の関係性である。「壁」は建築というシステムの象徴であり縮図、「暮らし」は人の営みだから。
建築と人の関係性を、壁と暮らしの関係性というところまで絞り込んで考えることによって、抽象的でぼんやりしていたことが、具体的で実現可能なことになると考えている。

Use double lines when marking walls on drawings. Draw a wall with double lines, separate inside and outside, divide rooms, divide areas.
The double line only means that it is a wall. Therefore, a simple sketch is sometimes written as a single line.
The area divided by walls is a problem, and walls are only boundaries.
The walls can be divided into bearing walls and non-bearing walls. The bearing wall is a wall necessary for resisting earthquakes and wind pressure due to the structure of the building. It depends on the structural calculation of the planned architecture. At that time, the length and thickness necessary for the bearing wall are determined. All walls other than the bearing walls are non-bearing walls.
When drawing a detailed drawing, the size of the load-bearing wall is written in detail, but otherwise, the load-bearing wall and the non-bearing wall are written continuously with just a double line.
Even in an actually completed building, the distinction between bearing walls and non-bearing walls is not apparent. So, whether it is a bearing wall or a non-bearing wall, only the area divided by the wall is a problem, and the wall is only a boundary.
Various facilities on the wall, such as kitchen, water, air conditioner and lighting. You may think that almost everything you need for your daily life, including the interior, is attached to the wall.
Until now, I never thought about the relationship between walls and living. I think that it is included in the category of interior design, but here I am thinking outside that category.
In other words, the relationship between walls and living is the relationship between architecture and people. "Wall" is a symbol of architecture and a microcosm, and "living" is human activity.
By focusing on the relationship between architecture and people to the relationship between walls and living, I think that abstract and vagueness will be concrete and feasible.
