多様性の獲得
どうしても複雑で多様な状態をつくりたいとなる。
多様性の在り方はつくり手の数だけあるとは考えているけれど、できれば、使い手の数だけ多様性の在り方があるとしたい。この場合「使い手」を「受け手」と読み替えても良いだろう。
つくり手の数だけ多様性の在り方があれば、それは作品には無限のバリエーションが存在することになるかもしれないが、その作品の無限のバリエーションに対して、その作品の使い手のバリエーションが１つであると、それでは作品に多様性があるとは言えないのではないかと考えている。
どのように多様性を表現するかにもよるが、可変性とか、選択性によって、多様性を表現することもできるだろうが、それが使い手側に委ねられて、使い手側のバリエーションが増えてはじめて、作品の多様性が獲得できるように思う。
もちろん、バリエーションを増やすことだけが作品の多様性を獲得する手段ではないが、使い手側にとっては、割とそれがわかりやすい多様性で、わかりやすさは多様性を表現する場合には必須なことだと、そうでないと多様性が伝わらないと考えている。
だから、使い手側に端を発することで、作品の見え方なり、佇まいなりが変わり、それが使い手の数だけバリエーションがあるのがいいなと思う。
日常の中で、常に、使い手側が持つ多様性に端を発している方が良いが、では、使い手側が持つ日常の中の多様性とは何か、感情とか、心のあり様であったり、気分であったりなどか。
